On June 7th, 1999, Al Turner visited the factory to test out the new Black Tiger that he ordered at The NAMM Show in LA in January of this year. He was looking for another Bass to compliment his Vintage 1985 B.T. Custom 5-String. The New "Black Tiger" was designed from the building experience of Al's Bass, as well as Freddie Washington, Ricky Minor, and a few others with the same Figured Walnut/Tiger Maple combination and The Smith Laminated Heeless Neck/Body Joint.
